FAQ's

Can I take class if I have an injury?

All of our staff are movement experts who are equipped to modify according to injury. It is your responsibility as a client to bring your injury to the attention of your instructor and they will guide you to the correct class or private session.

If you are unsure, email hello@goodaypilates.com to discuss in more detail.

If I’m on a membership can I take more than 1 class per day?

We love our dedicated clients who want to take more than 1 class per day.

There is a $10 charge for an extra class per day if you are on an unlimited membership.

Do I need Pilates experience to book a class?

Our classes are designed for every level of experience. If you are a beginner, our movement experts are equipped to modify to your needs and encourage you to push yourself towards your Pilates goals. If you are an expert, our classes include progressions, and our intelligent instructors make sure you’re always going deeper and learning something new about your practice.

Can I take class if I’m pregnant?

We offer a specific Pre and Post natal class, ‘Good Mama’ which is our recommended option for all pre and post natal women. Pre Natal women must inform instructors of their pregnancy. We recommend pre natal women to book a Pilates Private prior to taking class.

Our Pre natal policy is:

Up to 20 weeks: Able to take all classes and privates.

Beyond 20 weeks: Able to attend only ‘Good Mama’ classes, ‘Focus Pilates 1:3’ and ‘Private Pilates.’

When retuning to Pilates after pregnancy, we recommend booking a Private session to establish goals and assess how the body is moving.

Can I take Good Mama if I’m not pre or post natal?

Our Good Mama classes are specific for pre and post natal women, giving them a space to connect with themselves and others. Because of this, if you are not pre or post natal, you cannot attend a Good Momma class.

Do I need socks?

For hygiene reasons, we require all clients to wear socks. Grip socks are preferable and provide the best experience however you can wear non-grip socks if you prefer.

We have grip socks available for purchase in the studio if you don’t bring your own.

What is the expiry on purchases?

Welcome offers = 3 months from date of first class.

All other purchases including private and classes = 12 months from date of first class.
