Our mission

Pilates teacher Training, designed with intelligence

Good Day Academy is intelligently designed and grounded in Physical Therapy, promoting a pro-active approach to health through the fundamentals of Pilates. We aim to challenge and empower our graduates to build knowledge, increase enquiry and create confidence, to be industry leading Pilates instructors.

Function

Function is the ability to train our body in a way that correlates specifically to functional movements. Whether that be going from sitting to standing, or changing direction when playing tennis. This is subjective depending on what the client is working towards.

Education

The ability to educate clients about why we teach certain exercises is important to create self-efficacy with exercises. A sense of responsibility to become stronger and more aware of their body even outside of the Pilates class.

Connection

Connecting to your own body (movement, breath and mind) is an integral part of performing Pilates exercises. We also encourage connection between clients and instructors and amongst clients to create a community surrounding Pilates.
