 FAQ’s

Are classes suitable for beginners?

Our classes are designed for every level of experience. If you are a beginner, our movement experts are equipped to modify to your needs and encourage you to push yourself towards your Pilates goals. If you are an expert, our sessions are tailored to your individual needs and will include progressions. Our intelligent instructors make sure you’re always going deeper and learning something new about your practice.

Can I join if I have an injury?

All of our staff are equipped to modify according to injury. It is your responsibility as a client to bring your injury to the attention of your instructor and they will guide you through modifications. We always recommend a private 1:1 session with an instructors if you are unsure about your injury in class.

If you are unsure, email hello@goodaypilates.com to discuss in more detail.

Can I Take Class If I’m Pregnant?

We offer a specific Pre and Post natal class, ‘Good Mama’ which is our recommended option for all pre and post natal women. Pre Natal women must inform instructors of their pregnancy. We recommend pre natal women to book a Pilates Private prior to taking class.

Our Pre natal policy is:

< 20 weeks pregnant: Able to take all classes and privates.

>20 weeks pregnant: Able to attend only ‘Good Mama’, ‘Good Recovery', ‘Focus Pilates 1:3’ and ‘Private Pilates.’

When retuning to Pilates after pregnancy, we recommend booking a Private session to establish goals and assess how the body is moving.
